Introduction to Relief Printmaking
An introductory workshop designed for beginning print makers or artists with some experience looking to hone their skills. In this one-day intensive, students will create a one color relief print from linoleum. Participants will utilize design elements such as form, line and vaue to create multiple prints and form a cohesive edition. Students will leave with their own set of prints and knowledge of this unique and accessible medium.
Daniel Chiaccio is a printmaker and illustrator from Western Massachusetts. He has a BA from the New Hampshire Institute of Art and has interned at Zea Mays Printmaking in Northampton, MA. He is a shop technician and teaches courses in various forms of printmaking.
